Mission Statement
The corporate mission is to market innovative hydronic heating and cooling systems and hydronic mechanical equipment which address the need for affordable, energy efficient HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air conditioning).

Start Up Summary
In 1997 Rod Shaw built a Super 8 motel and installed the Total Comfort Solution Patented Integrated Piping HVAC System. After experiencing the positive results of operating the system, including energy efficiency and guest comfort, Rod saw a business opportunity in marketing the patented technology and HVAC components throughout North America.

In 1998, Total Comfort Solution Inc. (TCS) was formed and rights were aquired to the patented technology. More technologies and products have since been added to the product line. TCS is a privately owned corporation.

Success
Today, TCS Inc. has seen its technology and HVAC products installed in over 90 commercial properties and numerous homes in Canada and the United States. Many more are in design and under construction. The technology has been recognized by the Canadian Government for its affordable efficiency through awards and grant funding. Natural Resources Canada has granted TCS Inc. research funding. Several facilities utilizing the TCS system have received grant funding for energy efficient design including the Alberta Plus pilot program developed by Energy Solutions Alberta, an initiative of Climate Change Central, and the CBIP grant.


As a result of the innovative technology utilized in the TCS energy efficient mechanical system, we can assist developers in qualifying for over 20% (14 out of 69) of the available LEED points.

TCS surpasses 100 project mark. Total Comfort Solution would like to thank all of its partners and customers in helping them to recently surpass 100 TCS projects.


TCS Inc. continues to build the company and develop new products to serve the heating and cooling industry. We are proud of the addition of our Residential line of products that offer improved comfort and energy efficiency for home owners and the addition of the En$ave Combo Hydronic HVAC Distribution for multi-dwelling facilities. The future is very positive for our company as our innovative team provides solutions to assist the world in its efforts to become more sustainable and reduce the harmful effects greenhouse gas emissions.
